The short version
Emily Riskas Film and Media is a small independent business. This page explains, in plain language, what happens to your information when you use this site. There is not much to it, and that is deliberate.
What is collected
The site has no forms and no accounts. Getting in touch happens by ordinary email, so the only information received is whatever you choose to put in your message: typically your name, your email address, and what you write about your project.
How it is used
Your email arrives in an ordinary inbox and is used for one thing, which is reading your message and writing back. Any conversation that follows lives in email, the same as writing to anyone else.
Analytics and cookies
This site loads Google Tag Manager, which is used for basic visitor measurement: how many people visit, which pages they look at, and roughly where they arrived from. That is aggregate audience information rather than anything that identifies you by name, and it involves cookies set by Google. Browsers let you block or clear cookies if you would rather not be counted, and the site works perfectly well without them.
What does not happen
Your details are never sold, rented, or traded, and they are not added to a marketing list or a newsletter. Nothing is shared with anyone beyond the tools described above, which exist only to carry the enquiry from the form to the inbox.
How long it is kept
Enquiries are kept for as long as they are useful, which usually means the life of a project and a reasonable period afterwards for records. If an enquiry does not turn into work, it can be removed at any time on request.
Your choices
You can ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected if something is wrong, or ask for it to be deleted altogether. Send a note through the contact page or email hello@emilyriskasfilmandmedia.com and it will be handled promptly. The same address is the place to raise a concern if you think your information has been handled poorly.
Changes to this notice
If the site changes in a way that affects any of the above, this page is updated too. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
